This is a very good idea for Valentines, I don’t think I could give one to my husband without discussing it with him first but considering how much cheaper it is to own a Straight Talk phone I think we should get one for each other. Our cell phone contract with family plan is about finished so we could cancel the contract and get two phones plus monthly packages and still save money. I’m getting excited already and I haven’t bought one yet, please tell me which cell phone would be good for someone who likes to text a lot?

I just got a Straight Talk phone about 4 days ago. I made the mistake of cancelling service with T-mobile first, and once my number was deactivated it wasn’t able to be transferred to my new phone with StraightTalk. I’m waiting for a new number to be assigned to me (that office closes over the weekends, sadly) but I’m optimistic about the whole thing. It’s really the best bang for your buck, even if the phones are kind of ugly. (I ordered a pretty faceplate for mine on eBay.)
Natashia, I got the Samsung R451C because it has a QWERTY keyboard, and I like that for texting.
