by admin on July 30, 2010

For years, Time Warner has dominated the internet service provider market with their “blazing fast” internet speed. Recently, At&t u-verse has been gaining market share with their version of fiber-optic high speed internet. At&t is slowly entering into new markets and gaining market share with incredible introductory rates. When it comes to connecting to the internet, everyone wants a fast and reliable connection.

Both Time Warner and At&t deliver an incredibly fast internet connection. Depending on the area that you live in, you can receive speeds that exceed 24mbps. When it comes to speed, U-verse has been praised because they provide a dedicated line that delivers constant internet speeds that never fluctuate. Your internet speed will always remain the same.

In a price comparison, Healthy Financial habits found that the two services are competing very closely. Depending on the area that you live in, one may be priced higher than the other. Overall, the prices are very similar between the two services.

So which service is better? Well that all depends on how you use your service. If you are combining internet, cable, and phone, you may find a great deal with Time Warner because they offer discounts when you bundle. Stand alone service may be cheaper with At&t. In addition, At&t is also offering some really great package deals.
